DELL Inspiron 3542 Adaptor mode not working

Make/Model- DELL Inspiron 3542
Motherboard Part No- FX3MC (Rev- A00)
Processor Type- Inbuilt i3
Ram Type –DDR3L
Problem –Adaptor mode not working
Diagnosis- Main Diode Short
Process-
Found a laptop Battery mode Working But when Adaptor connect adaptor light off but laptop work fine with battery . open laptop and check out motherboard found near DC connector Diode Short After Replace Diode Work Fine Laptop And Charging Work Proper …
